Business Continuity
How client records, access and deliveries are protected in a founder-led company with a four-person in-house team.
A founder-led company with a four-person team
A&M Offshore Accounting operates with a four-person in-house bookkeeping team under founder supervision. This provides operational capacity beyond a single-person freelance practice. Workflows, access, responsibilities, and delivery schedules are managed at company level so recurring bookkeeping work can be coordinated across the team.
Moin Ud Din Malik currently provides founder-level oversight and review. We do not describe a larger organisation than exists, and this page does not claim a designated successor or a disaster-recovery team.
Continuity of client records
The books live in the client's or firm's own accounting file, not in a system that only A&M controls. Each month's reconciliation reports are delivered with the books. If A&M were unavailable, the client or firm already holds the records and the evidence of the work to date.
Workflow
Each client's month follows the same sequence: records in, transactions reviewed, accounts reconciled, founder review, delivery. Anything specific to a client is noted in the file.
Agreed delivery dates
Delivery dates are agreed in writing for each client at the start, built around the client's or firm's filing calendar. If a date is at risk, the client or firm is told beforehand, not after.
Access management
Access to a client's accounting system is granted and withdrawn by the client or firm, not by A&M, so a change of provider never depends on A&M's cooperation.
Contingency planning
Moin Ud Din Malik currently provides founder-level oversight and review. A firm that needs a named alternate reviewer can discuss that as part of the engagement.
Contingency procedures can be documented for specific engagements, for example around filing deadlines or payroll dates. Capacity is discussed before clients are taken on, and A&M would rather decline work than overcommit.
Communication during a disruption
If something disrupts delivery, affected firms and clients are contacted directly, told what is affected and what the revised dates are, and filing deadlines are prioritised.
Handover procedures
On request, or if an engagement ends for any reason, A&M hands over the file, reconciliation reports and working documentation in the format the next provider needs, and supports the transition.
Ask before you commit
