Multi-Entity & Multi-Location Bookkeeping

Restaurants, franchises, gas stations, convenience stores and other businesses with several sites, entities or shared cards, kept reconciled and reported per location.

In short

Can A&M handle several locations or entities?

Yes. A&M keeps multi-location and multi-entity businesses reconciled and reported per location, including shared credit cards and intercompany transactions, for restaurants, franchises, gas stations, convenience stores and similar businesses. Each company is priced separately.

The work

What multi-entity and multi-location bookkeeping involves

Per-location reporting

Income and costs separated by site, so each location's results can be read on their own as well as consolidated.

Shared cards and costs

When one card or invoice serves several sites or entities, each charge needs the right treatment. Deciding that consistently is most of the job.

Intercompany bookkeeping

Money moving between related entities recorded so that the balances agree on both sides and do not distort either entity's books.

See the anonymised examples on the industries page. Treatment of shared and intercompany items is agreed with the client's CPA where they have one.

Pricing

Each company is priced separately

Entities that share cards or costs need the intercompany treatment sorted out properly, which is real work. Small businesses can estimate a figure in the calculator (extra locations are itemised). CPA and tax firms are quoted a flat price per company. How firm pricing works →

Questions

Multi-entity questions

Can you report by location in QuickBooks?

Yes, using the location and class features in QuickBooks where the client wants them, set up to match how the owner and the CPA read the numbers.

Who decides how shared costs are split?

The client, or the client's CPA, decides the rule. A&M applies it consistently and documents it.

Do you prepare consolidated tax returns?

No. A&M is not a CPA firm. It keeps each entity's books reconciled so the preparer can work from them.

What A&M is — and is not

A&M Offshore Accounting (Private) Limited is not a CPA firm. It provides bookkeeping and accounting-support services: keeping books current and reconciled, cleaning up prior records, and handing over organised, tax-ready books.

It does not provide audit, review, assurance or attestation services, tax preparation or tax advice, legal advice or investment advice, and it does not prepare or file tax returns. Those stay with the client's CPA, enrolled agent, tax preparer or other licensed professional.

Where A&M supports payroll or sales-tax reporting, that is reporting and support prepared from the books. It is not tax advice or a compliance determination.

The founder holds Intuit QuickBooks credentials. These are software-training credentials, not a professional accounting licence, and they do not make him a CPA.
