Industries & Anonymised Examples
The founder's U.S. bookkeeping experience spans these business types. We describe what the bookkeeping involves, and we do not claim specialist regulatory expertise.
Where the founder's experience sits
Typical bookkeeping considerations for each. This is a description of the work, not a claim of regulatory specialisation.
Restaurants
Daily sales and deposits, vendor-heavy costs and payroll that all need to reconcile to the statement.
Franchises
Location-level results, franchise-related fees and consistent categories across sites.
Gas stations
High card volume, fuel and in-store sales, and often several locations.
Convenience stores
Inventory and cost of goods, vendor invoices and shared cards across sites.
Mortgage & financial-service businesses
Many vendors and transactions to categorise consistently before financial statements. Any regulatory or licensing reporting stays with the business's own advisers.
Medical practices
Bookkeeping from financial statements and accounting records. Patient records are not needed, and A&M does not provide HIPAA compliance services.
IT businesses
Subscriptions, contractors and project versus recurring revenue.
Non-profits
Tracking by program or fund using classes where the organisation wants it. Audit and annual filings stay with the organisation's CPA.
Professional services
Client billing, retainers, contractor payments and owner transactions.
Multi-location small businesses
Per-location reporting, shared costs and intercompany treatment.
Anonymised examples of the work

The work. Deciding the right treatment for shared and intercompany charges, reconciling each account to its statement, and reporting by location.

Mortgage business cleanup
Situation. A year of transactions needing cleanup.
The work. Every transaction categorised, vendors normalised, accounts reconciled and financial statements prepared against the client's existing chart of accounts.
What the client receives. A reconciled year and statements to review.
Behind-the-scenes support for a tax professional
Situation. A U.S. tax professional whose clients need ongoing bookkeeping.
The work. Long-term, behind-the-scenes monthly bookkeeping for those clients, month after month.
What the tax professional receives. Books ready for review and return preparation.
What A&M is — and is not
A&M Offshore Accounting (Private) Limited is not a CPA firm. It provides bookkeeping and accounting-support services: keeping books current and reconciled, cleaning up prior records, and handing over organised, tax-ready books.
It does not provide audit, review, assurance or attestation services, tax preparation or tax advice, legal advice or investment advice, and it does not prepare or file tax returns. Those stay with the client's CPA, enrolled agent, tax preparer or other licensed professional.
Where A&M supports payroll or sales-tax reporting, that is reporting and support prepared from the books. It is not tax advice or a compliance determination.
The founder holds Intuit QuickBooks credentials. These are software-training credentials, not a professional accounting licence, and they do not make him a CPA.
